Im Zeitlauf

Im Zeitlauf is a largely self-sufficient farm in Kaltern, offering eight guest rooms for rent set in the middle of greenery. The two young owners, Lukas and Lena, have made it their job (literally!) to bring guests closer to nature through a holiday experience as sustainable as possible. Delicate apple blossom in spring, bright, juicy fruits in summer, the grape harvest in autumn, and winter’s rest: at the farm, everything follows its natural course, as expressed by the German name (“the passage of time”).

This project came from the heart, and deserved a design concept capable of conveying a sense of the wonderful holiday experience offered – one with nature as its centrepiece. We created the logo taking care to stylise the ideas of nature and attention to detail. The result was a contrast-rich word and figurative trademark characterised by light brush strokes and a solid, stable typeface. For the colour concept we chose a natural tone: earth-brown, combined with great natural papers for print materials. The Zeitlauf concept is also reflected in the website, with large, expressive images on a beige background and the core information provided in a relaxed layout.
